Jason Dunn, Principal

Jason Dunn graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History.  He obtained his Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction along with his teaching license at Lincoln Memorial University.  Later, he obtained his Educational Specialist degree at Tennessee Technological University in Instructional Leadership. 

He began his teaching career as an alternative school teacher at M.A.P Academy where he taught for several years. In 2014, he joined Carroll-Oakland as the assistant principal.  He became the head principal at Carroll-Oakland for the 2017-2018 school year. 

In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Diana, and twin sons Gannon and Gage.

 

Danielle Floyd, Assistant Principal (Elementary)

Danielle Floyd graduated from the Middle TN State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  She obtained her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction along with her teaching license at Cumberland University.  

Mrs. Floyd taught in Lebanon Special School District for 10 years and has been an administrator in Wilson County since 2021.  In 2021, she became the Assistant Principal at Stoner Creek Elementary and moved to Carroll-Oakland as an Assistant Principal in 2023. 

Mrs. Floyd attended Carroll-Oakland as a K-8 student and now both her daughters attend CO!  She likes to spend time with her family hiking and running. 

Kayla Crutcher, Assistant Principal (Middle School)

Kayla Crutcher graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and from Carson Newman with a Masters in Educational Leadership.  She taught middle school Science and Math in Rutherford County for several years before moving back to her alma mater - Lebanon High School as Assistant Principal.

Kayla enjoys reading, the outdoors, as well as choreographing cheer routines in her free time.
