Dr. Rachel Cook, Assistant Principal (Elementary School)
Dr. Rachel Cook began her teacher training at Middle Tennessee State University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Dr. Cook then pursued a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Middle Tennessee State University. Then, she received an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Lipscomb University. She earned her Ed.D degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at East Tennessee State University. She served 4 years as Principal of Gladeville Elementary and 6 years as Assistant Principal of West Elementary. As a teacher, she worked at Gladeville Elementary, Carroll-Oakland Elementary, and Tucker's Crossroads Elementary here in Wilson County.
She has five wonderful children: Faith, Tucker, Molly, Jack, and Hattie Joy. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding and being outside. Rachel loves the Wilson County community and has called it home for many years! Dr. Cook grew up in Mt. Juliet and graduated from Mt. Juliet High School.
Kayla Crutcher, Assistant Principal (Middle School)
Kayla Crutcher graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and from Carson Newman with a Masters in Educational Leadership. She taught middle school Science and Math in Rutherford County for several years before moving back to her alma mater - Lebanon High School as Assistant Principal.
Kayla enjoys reading, the outdoors, as well as choreographing cheer routines in her free time.
